A Personal Journey

The Sweet Alternative was born from necessity and reimagined with love. When Chef Veronique transitioned to a gluten-free lifestyle, she refused to accept that going gluten-free meant giving up the warmth, flavor, and joy of beautifully baked things. So she set out to create the desserts she wanted to eat, gluten-free without compromise, made with the same care and artistry as any traditional bakery. What began as a personal need became a promise that no one should have to choose between their health and the pleasure of something sweet.
